STRESS...
1. Andante und Rondo Ungarese - C.M. Weber
2. Variations on Grandfather's Clock - W. Foote
3. Variations et Rondo - Kalliwoda
After playing through the Weber a few times, I decided it's too risky to play it in one month's time.
Because...
- There're so many fast-tonguing passages.
- My tongue goes limp after playing the Weber.
- Overall this piece is TOO tiring.
- The work is too famous for my own good.
Grandfather's clock variations is too badly written to be performed.
O-U-T.
I'm left with only the Kalliwoda now which is only 12mins long at most.
Still got 18mins to fill up.
Telemann's Bassoon sonata in F minor is only 11mins.
Most of Devienne's Sonatas fill up only 10mins.
Gordon Jacob's Partita isn't to my liking...(it's about 6mins).
Elgar's Romance is on my list actually.
But...it's eats up my energy also (Zhang feels that way too when he plays it).
How???
